Event-driven server side javascript with node.js

About the Topic:

Node.js is a server side software system designed for writing scalable Internet applications, notably web servers. Programs are written on the server side in JavaScript, using event-driven, asynchronous I/O to minimize overhead and maximize scalability. In this presentation we’ll compare node’s architecture to the one employed by thread-based concurrency environments, and explore its application development ecosystem.

About the Speaker:

Robert is a co-founder of IdeaLoop, a small mobile application developmentshop. He’s a corporate cubicle refugee who built software for insurancecompanies, retailers, database giants, and small start-ups. Nowadays Robertfocuses on both native and web mobile application development.Node.js is one of the server side tools IdeaLoop relies on to meet the challenges common in mobile context.

AWS ONLINE TALKS: Uninterrupted Business

Cloud security at AWS is the highest priority. As an AWS customer, you will benefit from a data center and network architecture built to meet the requirements of the most security-sensitive organisations.
An advantage of the AWS cloud is that it allows customers to scale and innovate, while maintaining a secure environment. Customers pay only for the services they use, meaning that you can have the security you need, but without the upfront expenses, and at a lower cost than in an on-premises environment.

Register to attend our weekly online talks to explore cloud security and compliance topics and get your questions answered during live Q&A.
